First Impression- Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation

Hi, guys I’ve heard mixed reviews on this foundation and I wanted to give my opinion on this foundation.

First off, my skin type is combination. I got the shade 9. Which has a pink undertone so the shade didn’t suit me. But I made it work with the colour of my concealer.

What the foundation claims to do-

Matte, lightweight, second skin finish.

Following the iconic success of Maestro and Luminous Silk Foundation, Giorgio Armani Beauty introduces new POWER FABRIC, a liquid foundation that teams long-wear, full coverage with a luminous, lightweight skin finish.
Upon application, the texture melts into the skin, weightlessly concealing the appearance of imperfections and creating a long lasting, no makeup feel. Like the Armani jacket, that timeless wardrobe essential, power fabric has been created for a successful, confident, modern and elegant woman. It dresses the skin, enhances the look of facial features and erases the appearance of fatigue.
Because every woman, and every complexion, is unique, POWER FABRIC foundation comes in 15 shades to suit every skin tone from pale to dark. The formula is adapted for each shade to deliver optimal coverage that illuminates the appearance of complexion, without creasing or fading. With an SPF 25 filter, POWER FABRIC offers effective daily UVA and UVB protection.
Suitable for all skin types.
Directions: For sophisticated perfect full coverage, take a small amount on a blending sponge and blend into the skin using a dabbing motion or apply foundation with fingertips for a natural result.
Match with the longwearing lip color: Lip Maestro for a total look.

  1. I applied 2 pumps of foundation and dotted it onto my face, and blended it out with my black beauty blender.
  2. And then I used my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in caramel.
  3. I set it with my Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish powder.
  4. And I contoured my face with my Kat Von d palette.
  5. All of these powders blended really well on top of the foundation.
  6. I then used the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray to set all of my makeup.
  7. I would say the foundation did look like my skin by better.  It wasn’t to matte.

Through out the day-

  • I would say the foundation held up quite well, I only got oily slightly on my t-zone and chin. But I used blotting paper to handle my oily t-zone.
  • At the end of the day, the foundation broke out a bit on my chin and nose.

Overall-

This is good foundation for my skin type, I can’t speak for other skin types. This foundation offers a medium to full coverage look. It is best applied with a beauty sponge.

It is not a great foundation if you want to wear it all day and you want it to last.

Where to buy- Armani Power Fabric Foundation

First Impression- Iconic London Pigment Stick

1. Applied the foundation with a real techniques sculpting brush. This foundation gives a medium to full coverage.

2. It was very blendable. Concealer and powders blend really well with the foundation.

3. I wore through out the day okay, it started to cake up round my mouth and chin.

4. I started to notice through out the day, that I also got oily.

Overall this foundation is not a favourite, but I will continue to use it but I’ll apply it in a different way.

I will give an update and do a full blown review on this foundation. xx

First Impression- Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation

As you know Wet n Wild is not available in the UK. I purchased my foundation on Amazon.

How I applied the foundation-

First I used smashbox Primer water as my primer.

I then used the spatula to dot the foundation all over my face and stippled it into my face with the Morphe M439 brush. And went over my face with the pink beauty blender.

The foundation gives a medium to full coverage look, gives a satin finish.

On top of the foundation-

My concealer blended in with my foundation really nicely. I used the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer for my under eyes, and the Nars soft Matte Concealer for my spots.

And the powder set the foundation well. I used the Kat Von D Loose Powder and My Mac Mineralize Skin Finish.

My contour powder blended on top of the foundation really well. No patchyness. I used the Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette.

I then set my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and pressed it in with the beauty blender.

Through out the day-

It started to get cakey round my mouth and chin. Maybe I should apply less there and have more concealer there as my concealer doesn’t crease.

My nose didn’t really get oily through out the day which was amazing.

Overall- I like this foundation and will continue to use it. And it’s good for flash photography.

Is It Worth It? -Glamglow Super Mud Mask

Hi guys, I am here to share if the glam glow super mud mask is really worth it.

Our most Advanced Clearing Treatment. Developed by GLAMGLOW® to help fight common skin concerns. Designed For Men & Women. SUPERMUD® for Super Clear Super Poreless-looking Skin.

Apply a Thin Layer to Clean Skin. Leave on for 5 – 20 minutes & Remove with Water. Use as a Full Face Mask or Spot Treatment as often as needed.

Avoid eye area. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using the week after.

Not for use on sensitive skin.

I recommend doing a test patch first to see how your skin reacts.

I use this face mask at least 2-3 times a week.

Pros

Tingling sensation on my skin, so I know that the mask is working

Great for putting on my pimples

Easy to store the jar

Doesn’t take too long to dry, depending on how much you put on

Cons

The price, but the price is understandable as most brands don’t use the same ingredients as glamglow. Which is why the product is so expensive.

This mud mask is really worth it, because no face mask that I’ve used compares to the glamglow mud mask.

An alternative for a good mud mask would be the L’Oréal Detoxing Mud Mask, if you want an affordable alternative.

Where to buy- Debenhams Glam glow
